This is his first full-length solo album since leaving Van Halen.
His first solo full album, released in 1986, contains 10 songs in total, including singles such as "Tobacco Road," which reached number 10 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and "Yankee Rose," which reached number 16 on the Biiiboard Hot 100.
After leaving Van Halen, he formed his own band with such talented players as Steve Vai (Gt.), Billy Sheehan (Ba.), and Gregg Bissonette (Dr.). In addition to newly written songs, this album includes a remake of Talas' song "Shy Boy" and three covers.
