生前に発表された唯一のベストアルバム。
1975年に『Lennon Plastic Ono Band』名義でリリースされた生前に発表された唯一のベストアルバム。『Power to the People』、『Imagine』、『Happy X'mas (War is Over)』などのシングル曲や代表的な楽曲を収録。
本作リリース後、1980年に『Double Fantasy』リリースまで音楽活動を停止。ベストアルバムではあるが、ただ音源を集めて収録した訳ではなく、細かな編集を施した楽曲が多い。『Give Peace a Chance／平和を我等に』で始まり、『Give Peace a Chance／平和を我等に』で終わるという一種のコンセプトアルバムのニュアンスもある作品。
