8月15日、16日の大阪フェスティバルホールと、8月１７日の日本武道館での演奏を収録。「Highway Star」「Somke on the Water」「Space Truckin」収録。黄金期と呼ばれる第2期のメンバー。アメリカではビルボード・チャートで最高6位まで上昇し、プラチナディスクを獲得。日本のみならず、イギリスやヨーロッパでも好評だった。
