音の隙間に自分を静かに励ます言葉を見つける、エレクトロな詩集のような一枚。
YMOの静かな魂、高橋幸宏が紡いだ“SELF-CARE”の音楽的処方箋。ビートを抑えた序章「What, Me Worry?」の呟きから、坂本龍一との「Flashback」が感情の揺らぎを、ビル・ネルソン共作のインスト「My Highland Home in Thailand」が異国の風を、そして、ジョージ・ハリスンへの敬意として「It’s All Too Much」のカバーで締めくくる。和洋の感性がバランスよく交差し、自身も起点となる世界が、やわらかく、けれど静かに輪郭を帯びて胸の奥に届く。英語と日本語が交錯する言葉選びにも、その意図的な間（ま）を感じる。リリース当時、LPチャートで着実に数字を残したのも、この静かな躍動が小さな波となって広がった証しであろう。
