The title comes from the fact that the park customarily opens at 8:30 p.m.
The 9th album released in 1979. It is basically a live album, but also includes studio recordings.
This album won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz/Fusion Performance. Tracks 10 to 13 are studio recordings. Track 5, "Slang," features Jaco Pastorius' skillful bass playing.
