The fifth album by Whitesnake, a rock band created during a time of many problems.
Around the same time, Cozy Powell joined the band on drums. It is also famous for not listing any of the band members in the credits, probably because it was released during a time of troubles with the band, such as discord and disputes with the producer. It has received some harsh criticism for being released during such a turbulent time, but if you listen to it, you will be amazed by the high quality of the songs.
It includes the ballad "Here I Go Again," which was later a hit in the U.S. and other countries as a self-remake, as well as the soulful original version of the classic "Crying In The Rain," which has a similar history.
