The Hip-Hop Producer's Quiet Return
Diamond D paints a new horizon after silence.
The 12-inch single "The Hiatus" was released after a period of hiatus, as the title suggests. His production still makes use of the ingenuity of sampling, but presents a more mature sound image. The balance between the precision of beat construction and the sense of groove is excellent, and this is an album that shows the craftsmanship of the hip-hop scene in the late 90s.
