デュラン・デュランの2人が“ハードロックとシック(バンド)、セックス・ピストルズの融合”をテーマに、シックのメンバーなどに声がけしてはじめたプロジェクト“パワー・ステーション”1枚目のアルバム。
シングル「サム・ライク・イット・ホット」などのファンクでパワーあふれる音は必聴。メンバーはデュラン・デュランのアンディーテイラーとジョン・テイラー、シックのトニートンプソン、ロバート・パーマー。1995年に再結成。
