The original was released in 1961. This is the first trio album in about 10 years with Richard Evans (bass) and Marshall Thompson (drums). This is a reissue of the 1975 "Cadet Jazz 20" series.
This album is a standout example of Dodo Marmarosa's unique style while inheriting the tradition of Bebop. In particular, original songs such as "Mellow Mood" and "Tracy's Blues" fully demonstrate his outstanding piano skills and sense, making for astonishing songs.
