A work that left a huge mark on the history of J-POP.
The original was released in 1975. This is a reissue of the 1981 release. It is a must-have album when talking about J-POP, including "SHOW" and the classic "DOWN TOWN."
The band was started by Yamashita Tatsuro, who said, "Let's try to start a band with a light-hearted attitude." Members who would later go on to create the foundations of J-POP, such as Otaki Eiichi, Onuki Taeko, and Muramatsu Kunio, gathered there. Sugar Babe itself was only active for about three years, and this was their only album.
