This is a gorgeous recording featuring the collaboration of the violin virtuoso Stern and the renowned conductor Rostropovich. Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto is known as a masterpiece of the Romantic period. His passionate yet sensitive expression fully conveys the charm of the work.
