The A-side, "Zip Gun Boogie," is a light-hearted number with a boogie rhythm and a light riff, reaching number 41 in the UK charts. The B-side, "Space Boss," features a more funky beat, symbolizing the direction of T. Rex's later work. While retaining the foundations of rock 'n' roll, this album also exudes an experimental spirit for a sound that was ahead of its time.
