The song was a huge hit and was the band's first to reach the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Released in 1990. This was the third re-cut single from the fourth album, "Mama Said Knock You Out." It reached number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the first song to enter the top 10, and also reached number 5 on the R&B chart and number 7 on the Dance Music chart.
The bass line, intro and chorus sample the 1983 Mary Jane Girls hit "All Night Long," while the melody samples Keni Burke's 1982 hit "Risin' to the Top."
