An analog record featuring Saki Kubota's signature songs is now on sale!
This limited edition comes on a clear red vinyl disc with a picture label, cut by one of Japan's leading engineers, Katsutoshi Kitamura!
Singer-songwriter Saki Kubota burst onto the scene in 1979 with her debut single "Ihojin," which sold over 1.4 million copies and catapulted her into the limelight. By the time she retired in 1984, she had released nine singles and seven original albums. This vinyl record project features 12 of her signature hits, including "Ihojin" itself, "Orange Airmail Special," which was used as the theme song for a soft drink commercial, "Campus Town '81," which is highly acclaimed as city pop, "A Girl from Alfama," recorded in Portugal and exuding the essence of fado, "Final Flight," a classic even among Saki Kubota fans, and the single version of "Yoru no Soko wa Yawakarana Maboroshi," which also serves as the title track of her self-produced final album!
