A huge hit that was released after overcoming various accidents.
The third album released in 1984. It contains 10 songs in total, including 5 singles such as "Back on the Chain Gang," which made it into the top 10 of the Billboard singles chart, and "2000 Miles," the first song released after the band reunited after being forced to take a hiatus.
After the release of "Pretenders II" in 1981, the band went on hiatus due to the firing of Pete Farndon (bass) and the sudden death of James Honeyman-Scott (guitar) from an overdose. This album, produced with new members, peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200. It became a masterpiece.
