Pharrell Williams' second album, a multifaceted work that has taken the industry by storm
It includes the song "Happy," which was nominated for an Academy Award and was used in a Japanese commercial for Asahi Super Dry, and is still popular among fans of Western music.
This is the first album after moving to Columbia. In the previous album, Pharrell was unsure about his music, but after producing the single "Get Lucky" with Daft Punk, he readily accepted Columbia's offer to produce an album, which led to the production of this work. "GIRL" expresses respect for the women who have supported him.
