Formed in Fukuoka in 1979 with Yamaguchi Hiroshi (vocals, guitar) at its core, the rock band Heatwave has gone through numerous member changes and continues to walk its own path to this day. This is their fifth major album, released in 1995, and their final release on Epic Sony.

The 1992 third album, "The Sun Also Rises," is released on vinyl for the first time. Approximately half of the songs have been edited for the vinyl release.
The official line-up has been reduced from three at the time of their debut to two, and they have welcomed guests such as Hosoumigyo (kb, acc) and Shingo Tomoda (ds), giving the album a more folky feel and songfulness. It includes "Ashita no Tame no Kutsu wo Shinokou," which was also covered by Bank Band.
