This is the LP edition of the third installment of the compilation series "Chillout Breeze," "Summer-drive Chillout Breeze," supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA), with artwork by FJD and mastering by Calm!
This compilation features a selection of music that will make you feel the pleasant breeze while driving in the summer. The beautiful jacket design by Jiro Fujita (FJD) and the excellent mastering by Calm, which focuses on the sound image, make this a superb compilation.
Supervised by Toru Hashimoto, eight new cover tracks have been recorded specifically for this compilation. These include Hideki Kaji's take on HAIM's "Summer Girl," Keiichi Sogabe's take on Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers' "That Summer Feeling," orange pekoe's take on Koop's "Summer Sun," TAMTAM's take on Sade's "Love Is Stronger Than Pride," Gota Nishidera's take on Smokey Robinson/D'Angelo's "Cruisin'," lo-key design's take on Remy Shand's "Rocksteady," haruka nakamura's take on Nick Holder's "Summer Daze" (based on the Pat Metheny Group's "Slip Away"), and Shingo Sekiguchi's take on Ben Watt's "North Marine Drive." Additionally, Toru Hashimoto's selection includes masterpieces by Chari Chari, Calm, and Yoshitaka Minami!
