This is an album that even non-jazz fans will want to listen to, as it conveys the joy of jazz with tracks such as the title track "On Green Dolphin Street," which is overwhelming with its free-flowing sax blow-up, the bluesy Miles Davis track "Vierd Blues," and the swing jazz of Charlie Parker's "Thriving On A Riff."
