A classic Fusion song. The title song is still played often on the radio.
This was their second album, released in 1982. In Japan, this was their first album. Following the huge success of this album, their official first album, "Drivin' Hard," was later released in Japan.
Unlike fusion, which originated from jazz, their sound emphasized melody and arrangement over improvisation, which was innovative at the time, and the title song "Night Birds" was a big hit. This is a recommended album for beginners to fusion.
