Created with the intention of being the ending theme, the song evokes the image of racing through the city, and was TM Network's first song to make it into the Oricon top ten.
In 2023, the Japan Anniversary Association will designate April 8th, the original release date (1987), as "Get Wild Day," making this the first time a Japanese song title has become a commemorative day.
