Michael Oh, best known for his rare groove super-popular album "Spread Love" and his production of LA songstress FAY, is back with a long-awaited LP reissue of this gospel album, one of the most wanted!
Released in 1981 on an LA label, this album stars the band Book of Life, who hail from Michigan. The cover art is a stark departure from the Arabic wizard-esque imagery, with a stylish, '70s soul aesthetic.
The highlight is a more funky take of the popular song "Spread Love," but the album also features other tracks, such as the New York dance classic-style dancer "I Don't Know You," which features a delightfully soaring female vocal performance from a FAY album, and the mellow dancer "Jesus Is Coming Again," which has a West Coast flair.It's no wonder this item fetches high prices among overseas collectors!
