The band's 12th original studio album, originally released on July 18, 1990, is now available on vinyl for the first time! This high-quality 45 rpm double-disc set is a must-have for any fan of the band.
The title is a combination of Jewel, meaning "jewel" in English, and Luna, meaning "moon" in Latin. The album was co-produced by Matsui Goro, who wrote the lyrics for seven of the ten tracks, and Nakayama Miho, who wrote the lyrics and music for three of the songs ("Kuchibiru," "Soshite Sono Natsu," and "Tenkoku e no Kagi").
The album includes the album version of the single "Goddesses' Adventures," released at the same time, as well as "From Now On, I Love You," composed by Kenjiro Sakiya and released as a single in a different version in 1991 after the album's release. Other composers include Hideo Saito, Kenji Hayashida, Keizo Nakanishi, and Takao Konishi, creating a breath of fresh air. The album opens with "Kuchibiru," a refreshing summer breeze song by Miho Nakayama, followed by ambitious tracks like the gorgeous "Yaba na Jewels," which ties into the album's title, and the soothing bossa nova-infused "La Mer of the White Sand." Like "SUMMER BREEZE" (the third album) and "Mind Game" (the seventh album), this album is themed around summer.
