This album marks a dramatic departure from the mellow, warm sound of their earlier works, building a dark soundscape tinged with tension and shadows. Deep bass, noisy guitars, and spatial processing using reverb and sampling are at the forefront, with even the gaps between songs acting as sounds, and elements that transcend genres coming together to create a dense sense of unity.
