"Peaceful Morning" was released in 1999 on a 12-inch analog by Soulmate, led by DJ Kyama, a fellow friend and 40-year veteran of the band DJ NORI, and immediately sold out. The A-side is a euphoric after-hours masterpiece with a laid-back Brazilian groove, refreshing flute and female chorus. The B-side features a remix of "DJ NORI's Heart of Soul" by DJ NORI, featuring a drumless rhythm with more emphasis on percussion, a comfortable swaying electric piano, and an impressive male chorus reminiscent of Stevie Wonder.
