The first single from Tokyo Riddim Band, a new band made up of Japanese and British people living in the UK, including Kobayashi "Mimi" Izumi, transcends race, generation and gender!
The first single is a cover of Hirayama Miki's 1982 work "Microwave," produced by Chikada Haruo and also included on the compilation album.
Like the original, it uses Bob Marley's Natural Mystic riddum, but with echoey vocals and siren sounds, it's been reborn as a more British production, with an even smoky dub on the B-side.
