The band's 12th studio album, released for the first time in about nine years and delighting fans, will now be released on limited edition red vinyl to coincide with the tour!
With a career spanning over 40 years, Primal Scream has created a funky, soulful work that exudes a fresh, youthful energy.
This is the 12th studio album LP, released 8 years and 8 months after "Chaosmosis". The writing process began in 2019. Bobby Gillespie, who had never thought about making an album for Primal Scream, recalls that the lyrics, or story, were born first, not the music. When he started composing alone with an acoustic guitar, ideas came one after another, and inspiration flowed without stopping. During this production process, producer David Holmes encouraged Bobby, helping the band move forward to new territory. Recording sessions took place in Belfast, London, and Los Angeles with David Holmes and Andrew Innes (G).
