Feel the West Coast breeze with the essence of Jimi Hendrix's live performance
This album features carefully selected live recordings from Jimi Hendrix's West Coast performances from 1969-70.
This album is comprised of live recordings from 1969 and 1970 at the Royal Albert Hall, San Diego, Berkeley, and the Isle of Wight. The album credits state that "Little Wing" and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" were recorded in San Diego, but they actually came from a performance at the Royal Albert Hall on February 24, 1969. This error was later corrected in The Jimi Hendrix Experience Box Set and other releases. An expanded version was released in 2011, adding previously unreleased performances, and has been well received by fans.
