A charity album that captures the energy of the UK rock/pop scene at the time.
The event was organized to raise funds for victims of the Bosnian War, and featured many iconic artists of the mid-90s, including Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, and Paul Weller.
Although the album covers a wide variety of genres and styles, it stands out as more than just an anthology album in that it combines the energy of 90s UK music with a social message. Help is an important compilation album, unique to 1995, documenting a moment when music was directly connected to the times and reality.
