Released in 1983, this is an album by fusion guitarist Lee Ritenour under the name "Lee Ritenour and Gentle Thoughts" in 1977.
Each side of the LP was recorded in one take using the direct cutting method.
This is an enjoyable work that conveys the tension of a one-take recording. Harvey Mason on drums and Dave Grusin on piano participate. Includes "Captain Caribe" and "Captain Fingers". Produced by Ma Young.
