A folk epic that blends fantasy and reality

With all lyrics written by Yasui Kazumi and arrangements by guitarist Takanaka Masayoshi, this is a structured piece that transcends the boundaries of folk music.

The album, consisting of 13 tracks from prologue to epilogue, was designed as a concept album that tells a story. Based on acoustic instruments, the arrangements, incorporating brass and strings, combine lyricism and drama, and the structure in which the lyrics and music are closely intertwined stands out. It is a unique work even among Japanese folk music of the 1970s, and is positioned as an attempt to anticipate the development of new music.
