Orthodox idol pop filled with fresh charm
This is the debut album of Mayumi Terashima, who also worked as an actress. The album is mainly comprised of bright and catchy pop songs (city pop) that follow the classic path of 80s idols.
Her vocals are not technically sophisticated, but they are straightforward and follow the fresh melody lines of the songs. The arrangements incorporate elements of the city pop that was popular at the time, with strings, brass sections, and cutting guitars adding color to the light rhythms. Ito Ginji and others participated in providing music and arrangements, enhancing the quality of the work. The album features highly polished songs as idol pop songs, such as "Tonight Only Lover" and "Moonlight Kiss."
