It would be more accurate to call this a Disco Sound compilation album rather than a soundtrack album.
The soundtrack album of the same name was produced by Motown and released in theaters in 1978. It is more of a disco sound compilation album than a soundtrack album, featuring artists from Motown at the time such as Donna Summer, The Commodores, and Diana Ross.
The most memorable song from the movie is "Donna Summer/Last Dance," which is repeated at the end of this album. "Paul Jabara/Disco Queen" and "Cameo/Find My Way" are also worth listening to.
