This is the first album with strong pop and heavy metal elements by Adrian Vandenberg, a Dutchman who later joined Whitesnake.
The Japanese title of the album when it was first released in 1981 was "The Myth of the Netherlands." It was a huge hit not only in the US but also in Japan, and marked a bold debut. Adrian's guitar delivers a must-listen sound.
This is one of Vandenberg's most representative albums, containing many songs that anyone can easily hum along to, such as the first single "Burning Heart," and it remains a popular album to this day.
