Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his solo debut, this album features remastered versions of popular Kitty Years albums by Japan's leading guitarist, Masayoshi Takanaka.
Masayoshi Takanaka is a rising star in the current global Japanese fusion boom, and is enjoying immense popularity not only in Japan but also in the West.
The albums were remastered and cut at Abbey Road Studios in London using high-resolution audio from the original master tapes. All three releases were remastered and cut by Abbey Road's renowned engineer, Alex Wharton. Each release will be released on colored vinyl, enhancing the image of the jacket artwork. This 1980 mini-album explodes with funky Takanaka. As the title suggests, it's a lively 45 with Takanaka's fingers dancing across the guitar frets. The album includes four tracks, including the soft, romantic "PLASTIC TEARS" and the heart-pounding disco tune "FINGER DANCIN'."
