The theme songs of "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," released in 1984, as well as "Castle in the Sky" and "My Neighbor Totoro," are still loved by many people today and are known to be featured in music textbooks. When the films were released, each was released as a 7-inch record, and the originals are now popular titles on the second-hand market. These Ghibli theme song singles have been completely reissued as they were when they were first released, and are housed in a box set. The first edition box set was newly mastered, and the sound has been carefully considered.
