Sade is often thought of as a female solo singer, but it is actually the name of a band consisting of a female vocalist and backing musicians. Many musicians have been influenced by the soothing "sound" of soul/jazz. This album was ranked 37th in "The 200 Best Albums of the 1980's" released in 2018.
