Masayoshi Takanaka's "SEYCHELLES," released as an SHM-CD in 2013, is a representative work of his tropical fusion sound. The sound world created by the clear guitar tones and refreshing rhythm section is reminiscent of the crystal clear waters and skies of the Seychelles. Masayoshi Takanaka, who led the Japanese fusion scene from the late 1970s to the 1980s, is highly regarded as one of his most accomplished works.
