Opening a new door for gothic rock
The Horrors paint a dark and decadent sound world.
As the title "Strange House" suggests, a strange and unsettling atmosphere dominates the entire album. Fusing elements of 60s garage rock and post-punk, they have constructed a modern gothic sound. This is a challenging debut album that breathed fresh air into the British rock scene in 2007.
