This is a concept album themed on composers, including the Burt Bacharach album "Close to Bacharach" with the Manhattan Jazz Quintet, the Duke Ellington Orchestra "Sing With The Duke Ellington Orchestra", and the Nat King Cole collection "Mona Lisa" with guitar virtuoso Mark Whitfield. The album "Batucada" traces the evolution of bossa nova and Brazilian music in America.
