Beethoven's Pastoral Hymn to Nature
Kletzky's conducting depicts the harmony between pastoral landscapes and the human spirit.
Accompanied by the rich sound of the Orchestre National de France, the naturalistic depiction and philosophical depth of Symphony No. 6 are beautifully expressed. Kletzky's interpretation avoids dramatic exaggeration and carefully portrays the tranquility and power of nature, which Beethoven loved. The scenery of each movement emerges vividly, making this one of the great classical performances.
