This is Ritchie's second album, produced with a new lineup of members, and is a powerful album.
This was their second album, released in 1976 under the name "Blackmore's Rainbow" rather than "Rainbow". It is an essential work when talking about the history of hard rock/hard music, including "Tarot Woman", "Run with the Wolf" and "Stargazer".
After releasing their first album, "Ginrei no Hasha/Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow," Ritchie Blackmore fired everyone except Ronnie James Dio and started a new line-up with Cozy Powell (drums), Jimmy Bain (bass), and Tony Carey (keyboards). However, Ronnie James Dio left the band in 1978.
