The masterpiece EP "Isle", released in 2018 on 8cm CD as a continuation of the worldview of the debut album "Grace", has been repressed on turquoise blue vinyl!
Haruka Nakamura is responsible for the lyrics, composition, and all instrumental parts. Janis Crunch, who was in charge of vocals on "Grace," is featured again.
The album includes a dreamy number "I'll" that evokes the beginning of spring and hope, which is in sync with the fantastic world depicted by photographer Shiori Iwakura, who collaborated with the album jacket and music video; a reconstructed version of the famous song "arne" from the debut album "grace"; and a newly recorded version of the popular song "Lilium," which was used in the climax scene of the movie "every day," for which haruka nakamura wrote the music. The B-side includes "anne," a different version of "arne," which was included in Schole's compilation "Joy" in 2013, available exclusively on the LP. It connects the worlds of "grace" and "I'll." The album also includes warm songs that evoke childhood memories, such as the nostalgic "Abandoned School Organ" and "Your Canon," which feature church organs, muted pianos, and field recordings. The artwork, like the 8cm CD, features beautiful natural scenery, and the work of the immensely popular photographer Shiori Iwakura on the jacket and inserts, creating a package that blends the sound world of "I'll" with the scenery beautifully. As with the analog version of "Grace," the mastering was done by Gen Tanabe, a close friend of Haruka Nakamura's who also works on the sound of his works. The deep sound production will provide new discoveries for listeners who were captivated by the release of the 8cm CD.
