This is the long-awaited vinyl reissue of a masterpiece that symbolizes the fusion of shoegaze and electronica in the 2000s since My Bloody Valentine!
German electronic musician Michael Lückner's solo project, guitar, released his first album "Sunkist" on Morr Music in 2002 and is now available on vinyl! This album is a symbol of electro-shoegaze in the 2000s, where Michael Lückner, an electronic musician based in Cologne, Germany, incorporated shoegaze sounds into his own electronica techniques. The album features soft electro/dance beats, feedback noisy guitar loops and detailed sequences, a beautiful and seductive melody by Ayako Akashiba's whisper voice, and a sound production that constructs each part with a collage-like approach. It is hedonistic and the ideal form of electro-shoegaze that My Bloody Valentine predicted in "Soon", leading both shoegaze and electronica to new horizons and having a huge influence on the subsequent scenes. For this reissue, it has been newly mastered (under the supervision of Michael himself) and is now available in the latest specifications!
