A masterpiece from a 90s jazz project that broke down genre barriers and put evolution into practice.

As the title suggests, this is an ambitious work that presents an "evolved" sound that boldly fuses jazz with hip hop, R&B, rock, and electronica.

Branford's sharp saxophone dances freely over a groove-focused beat, intersecting with rap and soulful vocals. Live instruments and sampling blend seamlessly, strongly reflecting the atmosphere of black music in the late 1990s. His style, which combines improvisation and street sensibility, easily transcends the boundaries of traditional jazz.
