Kiyoshi Sugimoto's 1978 work is reissued for the first time!
The recording members include Shimizu Yasuaki (sax), Togashi Haruo (kyd), Okazawa Akira (b), Tokashiki Yuichi (ds), as well as Fukamachi Jun (kyd) and Matsuki Tsunehide (g).
While honing his jazz guitar skills with Hino Terumasa's group and Ishikawa Akira's Count Buffaloes, Sugimoto Kiyoshi was also active as a session musician, handling a variety of studio work, including popular songs, enka, and pop music. After releasing his first album as a leader in 1969, he gradually began to pursue a crossover sound, releasing "LAMASTER" in 1978, with all tracks composed and arranged by himself. Accompanied by a group of talented young artists of the time, he showcased his precise guitar playing and keen sense of style. This is his first re-release.
