The official soundtrack for the film "City of Angels" by Warner Bros. Records. Featuring "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls, as well as tracks by U2 and Sarah McLachlan.
This is the official soundtrack released to coincide with the release of the film "City of Angels" (directed by Brad Silberling). The Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" was a huge hit on the US charts and was nominated for three Grammy Awards. Sarah McLachlan's "Angel" and Alanis Morissette's "Uninvited" are also included as important tracks that support the film's lyricism. The sound is primarily acoustic, reflecting the alternative pop trends of the late '90s. This is a representative soundtrack that achieved success in both film and music.
