The fruition of crossover music born from the Japanese jazz scene
Imada Masaru's instrumental world is a mix of melancholy and passion.
With a guitar-centered arrangement, the band's performance freely moves back and forth between the boundaries of jazz and fusion. The title track, "Aishuu no Carnival," features a striking melancholic melody, fusing Japanese emotion with the sophistication of jazz. This album is representative of the Japanese jazz scene of the early 1980s.
