The first solo album from the man who supported The Doobie Brothers in their later years.
Released in 1982, this was his first solo album and included the single "I Keep Forgettin'", which was a huge hit.
After Michael McDonald joined The Doobie Brothers, their musical style changed to AOR. This was his solo album released when they stopped performing in 1982. Later, "I Gotta Try" and "Playin' By The Rules" were also re-released as singles from this album.
