This is the final work by Off Course, with Kazumasa Oda and Yasuhiro Suzuki still in the band. This album is impressive for its calm tone and deep sense of melody, just before the band disbanded.
Kazumasa Oda's voice resonates gently amidst the enveloping sound of soft piano and strings. Melodies filled with sadness, such as "Kokoro wa Narete" and "Natsu no Hi," flow quietly. There are no flashy developments, and the album exudes an introspective beauty, as if looking at a turning point in life. The precise harmonies and simple arrangements characteristic of Off Course are in exquisite harmony, creating a strong sense of emotion amid the vast expanse of sound. This work is imprinted with the quiet brilliance of the band on the eve of their breakup and mature expression.
